Hale Scout ReservationTroop 3 attends camp at the Tom Hale Scout Reservation in Talihina, Oklahoma. Be sure to go to their website to familiarize yourself with the activities! Summer Camp dates - July 13th - 19th, 2008 What day are we leaving? Sunday, July 13, 2008 Where are we gathering? Christ the King Church parking lot just South of the Bell Tower next to the Administration Building What time are we leaving? Need to be at the gathering spot at 10:00AM so we can load up and depart for camp at 10:30AM. We will be leaving at 10:30AM even if you'r late! What do I need to bring with me? Bring a Sack Lunch for Sunday. We will stop before we get to camp
and have lunch. Also bring the stuff you need to be at camp for a

What day are we coming back? Saturday, July 19, 2008 Where are we gathering? Christ the King Church parking lot just South of the Bell Tower next to the Administration Building What time should we be back at Christ the King? We should be back between 9:30AM and 10:00AM. We need your commitment to attend summer camp as soon as possible and payment of the $200 camp fee no later than June 1. The camp fee also includes money for (2) Troop 3 T-Shirts to be worn at summer camp. Mr. Yates will need to know your shirt size by June 1. Any member of Troop 3 that is not attending summer camp can also purchase t-shirts. Please see Mr. Yates for details. There are 4 time slots available to fill with merit badge classes. The Soaring to Eagle program is encouraged for any scout needing to obtain Tenderfoot, Second Class or First Class rank. It fills one time slot. Once the merit badge classes have been decided, be sure to pick up the merit badge pamphlet from the local office (on Old Greenwood Road by Creekmore Park). Read through the pamphlet before camp!
